Workshops and Pathways
WHAT WE DO

In our workshops we guide boys and girls to discover Milan
turning the city into an open-air museum: a living, inclusive and accessible place of learning. Through hands-on experiences, play and observation, we explore the city’s artistic, cultural and scientific heritage, fostering curiosity, independence and a sense of belonging.
Our labs
The pathways, aimed at primary school (2nd and 3rd) and lower secondary school (1st year), run throughout the school year and take place in collaboration with museums, cultural institutions and iconic places in the city.
An added value of the ConquistaMi programs is educational continuity: each class is supported from second grade through ninth grade, building over time a meaningful relationship with Milan and its cultural institutions.

Rich, accessible and engaging routes
The exploratory walk is the beating heart of our routes: a walking path from schools in outlying neighborhoods to the cultural places downtown.
By walking, observing and playing, children learn to read the city with care and wonder, discovering details that often escape adults.
An experience that brings together:
movement
orientation
independence
sense of community
Our workshops are co-designed with schools, inclusive and adaptable to the group’s needs. We work with museums, libraries and theatres to create rich, accessible and engaging pathways.
During the activities we offer:
observation games
creative challenges
photo missions
mini art workshops
cooperative activities
Play is not an “extra”, but the language through which children explore, understand and take part in a natural and engaging way.
